How to de-fanaticize Muslims of Middle East ?

We all are human beings and religions were developed in medieval times to make a better human beings and a better human society. The Muslim intellectuals of Middle East developed a very orthodox version of Islam by incorporating many things – some from Islam and some by themselves. There is no command for beard or circumcision but these were made sole identification for Muslim male. The command for purdah is not as presented by them. The commands for war and death penalty were for specific occasions and not as now understood by them and at least war means war with those who fight and not killing of non-fighting men, women and children and never one done by suicide.

Same religion, same Scripture and same teachings by Prophet would have taken in entirely different ways by people of other places if these had come there as in India or China or Japan.

If Jews of Israel start killing on plea that their religion is truest and first religion then it must not be reason to find fault with Judaism or their Scripture or Prophet and such fanaticism is still found in some Jews and Christians though they are tiny minority whereas fanatic Muslims are in majority and there are non-religious reasons for that.

Why majority of Middle East’s Muslims are fanatic ?

First it is not necessary that majority of Muslims are fanatic as a powerful minority keeps fanaticism prevalent. The religion was misused to keep women and other people subjugated as in Europe Inquisitions were instituted.

The men of Middle East developed whole religion and social system based upon it – women were confined in to purdah and when adultery was suspected she was stoned to death.

Then same men want to save their faith by killing any person who raises doubt or says something of such nature. So they are killing Sufis, Shias and others on charge of heresy/blasphemy. They and others quote their Scripture or Prophet but similar things are in Old Testament but majority of present day Jews and Christians based their religion on those things.

Here in India, here was one noble Muslim who later became Judge High Court. His wife used to take Music lessons from a Sikh teacher and then one day she eloped with her teacher leaving behind two small daughters. Then later she returned and in the mean time her daughter had grown and become advocate and she lived with her daughters perhaps in the same house of her living husband. So there is something specific with Muslims of Middle East who get their wives killed on charge of adultery.   

So if there be true democracy in Middle East then hopefully if  open minded people are in majority then fanaticism will become a thing of past as it has been discarded by other people.

If majority opts for fanaticism then whole modern civilized World may coerce them to come in line and adopt modern laws and Universal Declaration of Human Rights 1948   as South Africa was coerced to end apartheid. Thus instead of blaming Islam and Scripture and Prophet the civilized World must take fanaticism as social pathology of particular people and must institute treatment and prophylaxis like any disease.

Faith-based coercion and violence- why ?

The God of philosophy is different from God of Religions. The God of philosophy is a hypothesis to understand this Reality and reality beyond. The God of Religion is a myth and religion demands faith and human mind is free flying bird that flies with doubt and only deliberately nested in the nest of faith.

The founder of religion himself has doubts many times and his close followers also harbour doubt time to time.

After this starts the phase of proselyte and many simple folk join the fraternity of faith and their simple beliefs, their dreams and some happenings in their personal lives considered miracle strengthen the faith of veterans too and quieten their inner bird.

The human mind doubts existence of God and moreover doubts the claim of man that God talked to him or the claim he is son of God or the claim that angel of God comes to him.

Thus basic articles of faith of all the three Semitic religions are under doubt. The initial fraternity becomes powerful and so it forces its faith upon others. Some embrace faith under coercion others meet death and all this success strengthens the faith and quietens the doubt in their own heart. Then this becomes a powerful state and annexes other nations in its fold and all this helps in strengthen the faith. In due course of time, some people add some things that suite them because of their earlier faith and then ruling elite forcibly crushes such ‘heresies’. Other people who are dangerous because of some non-religious reasons such as peasants revolting against lords, they are put on Inquisition and their leaders eliminated this way. Similarly, people of different ethnicity are crushed.

The religions were developed and used to fulfil other interests of ruling elites and more likely the ruling elites don’t have faith. In modern World, every educated man and woman knows that human beings are on Earth for about 100000 years or more and they understand very well that sky is not roof and earth is not floor. They know that God cannot be man like and cannot be referred as He. They must fulfil their historical responsibility of making this World  a better place and this is possible only through joint action and strong and democratic UN. The starvation and slavery must be ended and it is quite feasible and all in equality based upon race, caste and gender must end and equal rights must be ensured to everyone.

Jews, Christians and Hindus are happy in denouncing Islam and Scripture and Prophet of Muslims but it is no solution. The Caste is ancient politics and the Religions are medieval politics.

Two human weaknesses have been used to build up religion and social system. The children of those Muslims who migrated to West for open life are now joining the ranks of IS to make a State where women be confined to purdah and stoned to death on charge of adultery and to behead those men who dare to oppose or express independent opinions.

What has happened to Muslims living in the West for a generation or two ?

A young Muslim couple in US goes armed and armored and kills 17 innocent people and with total disregard for lives of innocent people and for their own fate and fate of their 6 months old baby. And countless young men and women from US and West have joined IS and are in way to join.

This is SUICIDE . Durkheim described three types of suicide :

1. Altruist

2. Egoist

3. Anomy

So it is anomy- loss of identity, loss of values and loss of reality

The guidance seeking community has lost way in modern glittering World. The religions of medieval times were better suited in medieval World. The Jews and Christians are also at loss. No prophet is to come and no clergies are able to guide them. They are reading Scripture translated in English and brood on it. The brooding about God and other World is maddening unless buttressed by love- love of family members, love of human beings, love of real things. So far followers Sufis and Shias who love their 14 Innocents have resorted to such killing.

When God’s blessings are described in Scripture, along with Sun, Moon, Plants, Animals, food etc, the man made things like apparels and ships are also mentioned. Yes Internet, automation, air planes, air-conditioning every human achievement is God’s blessings – all that Science terms ‘happy coincidence’. The Jews, Christians and Jews may live in modern World and they must understand God has given right to live and right to succeed to Atheists and Humanists too.  Don’t kill yourself and don’t kill others- it does not matter whether there is God or not and whether religion is true or not.The modern World needs joint action in place of charity to end slavery and starvation. The World needs equal rights to everybody of every race and caste, equal rights to men and women and equal rights to LGBT. This is the right path to God/Goodness.  A boy or girl when grows and finds he or she was adopted child then it becomes very shocking for her and whole World crumbles but one has to stand on his or her feet and recreate his or her World. Same thing happens with modern educated people especially those who have migrated to West. All of us have to resurrect our God and our Religion.

Basic evil of Indian mindset is disgust and contempt of human body

We human beings are evolved from our animal cousins and mentally we are maladjusted with our animal body. This maladjustment is universal. But other people are able to ignore it and live happily but we have based whole social structure upon it. The wealthy people are able to appear above common people as if god or angel and those who are marginalized appear low and wretched.

For body functions of urination, defecation, passing flatus, emission and sex we have words full of contempt and similarly we have words for penis, vulva, anus and buttocks that have contempt and we have expletives suggesting sex with mother and sister.

1. Disgust and contempt of women : The women menstruate and she keeps her clean and there is no ground to consider women impure and filthy during these days. The women are considered dirty because they receive penis and penile emissions and man himself finds these two things dirty because urine and semen come from same organ whereas in women the holes are different. It is usually talked that he has taken her ... ,when some man has sex with some woman. For woman, it is said ‘she gives’ and some woman who is easy to have sex is disparaged by calling her ‘chhinaar or chhinaaal’ perhaps meaning same as is meant by whore.

The coitus is such an intimate activity that man wants his wife to be virgin and to remain loyal to him throughout life. But men of Middle East have developed whole religion and religious law just to ensure this while men of other places though wish the same but not went so far. Their whole violence and desire to spread their religion all over the World is just for this motive. They want to marry as many women as possible and to keep them confined within house and if there be any suspicion, she be stoned to death. To ensure virginity, the girls are restrained from the early age. In Africa and Arab and perhaps also in other places, the girls are also circumcised and infibulations is practiced in which labia are excised and vaginal orifice is stitched in small girls. Jews started circumcision of male child and Muslims also do it and so their men think that uncircumcised men are filthy and don’t wish their own women marry uncircumcised men. In Old Testament, there is story where Israelites killed and destroyed whole people by treachery because one man from those people had cohabited with one Israelite girl and wanted to make her his wife.

2. Disgust and contempt of other men : Such feelings are universal but here in India , some Brahmans made caste system and cruelly enforced it. In India, the tropical Sun darkens and it darkens more who toil outside under Sun of the noon time. The simple people kept on working under Sun and privileged section remained indoor and so simple people became dark and disgusting and then work was assigned to them and it was made hereditary. So everyone started hating person doing work of more inferior status. The persons doing ordinary work were called Shudras and who were doing more dirty work of scavenging and rearing pigs and taking out hide of dead animals were made outcasts.

Manu Smriti  5: 104. “Let him (king) not allow a dead Brahmana to be carried out by a Sudra, while men of the same caste are at hand; for that burnt-offering which is defiled by a Sudra's touch is detrimental to (the deceased's passage to) heaven.”

Chapter 7 : 267. “A Kshatriya, having defamed a Brahmana, shall be fined one hundred (panas); a Vaisya one hundred and fifty or two hundred; a Sudra shall suffer corporal punishment.”                                                                                                                                                            

270. “A once-born man (a Sudra), who insults a twice-born man with gross invective, shall have his tongue cut out; for he is of low origin.”

271. “If he mentions the names and castes (gati) of the (twice-born) with contumely, an iron nail, ten fingers long, shall be thrust red-hot into his mouth.”                                                                                                                                                                                            

272. “If he arrogantly teaches Brahmanas their duty, the king shall cause hot oil to be poured into his mouth and into his ears.”                                                                                                                                                                                   

276. “(For mutual abuse) by a Brahmana and a Kshatriya a fine must be imposed by a discerning (king), on the Brahmana the lowest amercement, but on the Kshatriya the middlemost.”                                                                                                                                       

277. “A Vaisya and a Sudra must be punished exactly in the same manner according to their respective castes, but the tongue (of the Sudra) shall not be cut out; that is the decision.”                                                                                                                                                                               

281. “A low-caste man who tries to place himself on the same seat with a man of a high caste, shall be branded on his hip and be banished, or (the king) shall cause his buttock to be cut.”                                                                                                                           

282. “If out of arrogance he spits (on a superior), the king shall cause both his lips to be cut off; if he urines (on him), the penis; if he breaks wind (against him), the anus.”

283. “If he lays hold of the hair (of a superior), let the (king) unhesitatingly cut off his hands, likewise (if he takes him) by the feet, the beard, the neck, or the scrotum.”                                                                                                                                                                     

Such is the intensity of hate and disgust that some members of Homo sapience species of animals felt against other members of same species.

The things have not changed in rural India. So the boys and girls of colleges and universities who believe in equality of mankind must be sent to those interior villages where they meet those families and try to help them and see the ground situation. Adequate laws should be made and properly to weed out hate and disgust.

God is not as described by religions

The religions present God as ruler or lord and address as if masculine. I think instead of asking about God we must ask ‘what is there’ or ‘what is beyond’ in order to talk about matters beyond this World. Some may deny any reality beyond present World. I present all that on basis of ‘consciousness’ that we and many animals possess.

We are conscious of this World when awake and remember sometimes what we dreamed while asleep. While awake, we see and hear and we have recollections, wishes and intentions and different feelings. Now suppose I want to drink water in the glass, I extend my hand, hold the glass, bring it near to my mouth and drink it and keep glass back on the table but I don’t know which muscles to contract, which muscles to relax and which joints to bend and which joints to extend and how to bring about all these actions. We intend and our brain completes the process. This is same what we do on our PC, we just click some options and the Operating System gets desired things done.

On this analogy, I assert that there is something intervening between our consciousness and our body and this something, I call ‘encon’, brings about changes that resulted in my drinking of water and keeping the glass back on table. Our nervous system, our neurones, they bring signals from eyes and ears, analyse them and present them to ‘encon’ and ‘encon’ converts our intentions into impulses that reach to corresponding muscles. This ‘encon’ is the intervening operating system- an interpahse between our nervous system and our consciousness.

On the same analogy – this cosmos is like our body, and nature is like encon and there is consciousness all around and ever.

When nervous system of embryo develops to a stage then ‘encon’ gets coupled to it and then ‘consciousness’ gets attached to this body-encon couple and death of body releases encon and consciousness back to nature and consciousness.

Now people may say that consciousness cannot exist without body. What is body and what is brain ? These are cells and cells need life and it is constant supply of energy , sugar and oxygen, to constantly integrate and disintegrate cellular structures – operate upon molecules. All that is happening within cells is happening in cosmos. The consciousness sees through animal’s eyes and hears through animal’s ears as we see radar screen or screen of our space ship and we don’t need radar or space ship because we are there without them – only we want to move in space ship and see the things through that. THE CPU simply receives binaries and recreates pictures and sound so we receive signals and recreate World that is real to us.

In this human life, our aim must be TRUTH, GOOD and CREATIVITY and what else is there we shall meet there.

This orthodoxy is killing all of us!

We Indian Muslims are spiritual minded people like other Indians and that orthodox version of religion developed in Middle East does not suite us and right version developed here is Sufism that suites us and make us able to communicate with every human being and with animals and plants and nature – Earth, Sun, Moon and we may see and find oneness in all such entities and thus we feel at home in India.

The emphasis upon external appearance, ritual cleanliness and ritual prayers is killing and is killing everywhere when ISIS is killing all those who deviate a little from their version – they are not only killing those who are without beard but also those who trim and prune their beard. How beard can be path to God and how only untrimmed beard may be so?

All such orthodoxy is alienating us from real society.

Everyone is watching everyone and asks to be correct while doing ritual cleaning, while standing in congregation, while reciting, while bowing. Newer and newer things are added and asked to be complied.

 The concept of filth and cleanliness has forced husband and wife not to have sex as majority of couple don’t feel clean without taking bath and most of the times it is impossible to take bath in early hours and so better not to have sex- this is harming both husband and wife.  

How a ritual cleaning by water or clay can make one clean? It is only change in attitude. First one is told that he is unclean because of doing urination, defecation or sex then he is told magic of becoming clean by doing some ritual. It is told that non-believers and polytheists are unclean – then who grow food, who pluck fruit and vegetables, who bring to shop and who sell? Who dig well, who lay down pipes? Is there any air where nobody has breathed out? And then how those cattle and birds whose milk we drink or whose flesh or egg we eat are clean? The modern World of surgical operations, blood transfusion and organ transplant has proved all such ideas of uncleanness absurd.

All this is orthodoxy, superstition and fanaticism and they are killing each other. All those ritual prayers, fasting and pilgrimage have become harmful now.

In Pakistan, first they killed and persecuted Ahmadiyas and now they are attacking and killing Shias and then they will attack and kill Sufis and also those who belong to other school. In Saudi Arab and Iran they are killing anybody who dissents. ISIS has killed over 10000 people who are deviated from correct path!

Let us return to humanity and have brotherly love with every fellow human being and let us see same Existence in every human being, every animal, every plant and in air, water, rivers, oceans, mountains, Earth, Moon, Sun and Stars. On practical aspect, the young Indians must try to excel in Science, Arts, Literature, Social work, Music, Mass media, Sports and so on. They must reject orthodoxy, blind following of any man, book or past and they must reject sense of uncleanness associated with gender or people. 

Who are real enemy of Indian Muslims ?

Since Independence, in all these 68 years, about 10000 Muslims have been killed in various riots or massacres.

The army of West Pakistan killed 26000 to 3000009  people of East Pakistan, now Bangladesh, and mostly among them were Muslims. US action  killed  91000 in Afghanistan and 151000 to over 1 million in  Iraq. IS killed  over 10000 in Iraq and Syria.

Now coming back to India, of course, all these riots and massacres are incited by BJP-RSS, Shiv Sena and their ilk. But what is role of Congress, Samajwadi, BSP and Communists ? Are they least concerned about killing of Muslims and want to bring doers to justice ? Are we concerned about Sikhs killed in 1984 and want the killers to be brought to justice ? Congress governments have instituted inquiry commissions after riots and always kept their reports in cold storage and not a single perpetrator of riot has been arrested by them and prosecuted. Sri Krishna Commission indicted Shiv Sena but Congress government gave state funeral to mastermind of killings. The person behind Gujarat 2002 was ascended to highest office by joint efforts of media, business and whole educated middle class.

Those secular Hindus who raised their voice- Mallika Sarabhai, Teesta Seetalvad, Sanjeev Bhatt  are being persecuted and what is happening in Supreme Court in matters of Zakiya Jafri, Sanjeev Bhatt and Teesta Seetalvad that is for everyone to wait and see.

What is real situation ? There is something obnoxious in our living that arouses hatred in 25% people who hate everybody naturally- they hate everybody and they are 25% in every human society and they initiate riots- they constitute BJP-RSS, Shiv Sena and other such outfits. The killing of innocent and poor Muslims arouses revulsion in remaining 75% and some of them rise in defence of victims and try to punish doers. But when heat settles down then haters prevail upon to prove obnoxiousness of victims and then majority thinks to scuttle the matter. This happens again and again. It is not that only RSS type people hate Muslims, even many among OBCs, Dalits, Sikhs and Christians find something obnoxious in Muslims.

So right thing is that wisdom prevail upon victim community and they live in such a way that ‘wolves’ could find no excuse to pounce upon.

But we see that our leaders who are rich and powerful that when country plunges into communal fire then they will remain safe or will easily slip out of country.

1. Abdullah Bukhari

The Shahi Imam of Delhi’s Jama Masjid has invited Pakistani PM Nawaz Sharif and other politicians along with foreign dignitaries to his son’s anointment ceremony (dastarbandi) but has not invited the Indian PM Narendra Modi. While talking to media he said “I have not sent invitation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi as Muslims have not forgiven him for the Gujarat riots”. The statement of Shahi Imam regarding PM Narendra Modi has created quite a stir in the country.

2. Azam Khan

He said, referring to the Kargil War: "The perks of Kargil were conquered not by Hindu, but Muslim soldiers.” This was criticized by the Indian media and an FIR was lodged against him. He refused to apologize for this and later accused theIndian Election Commission of bias against him because of his religion.While addressing a rally in Sambhal, Azam Khan appealed to people to take revenge against the “murderers of Muzaffarnagar.” Third, Azam Khan insulted his political opponent Narendra Modi, saying: "We don’t want your sympathy, elder brother of a dog’s son."On 11 April 2014, Azam said that Sanjay Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi had been punished by Allah for "forcible" sterilisation during the Emergency and "shilanyas" at the disputed site in Ayodhya.On 21 November 2014, Azam Khan commented that Taj Mahal should be handed over to the Wakf board. He was widely criticized in the media over his remarks, as the Taj Mahal belongs to the whole of India and not to a single community.

  3.Akbaruddin Owaisi

In August 2007, along with other elected and serving members of his party, Owaisi made death threats against Tasleema Nasreen, pledging that the fatwa against her and Salman Rushdie were to be abided by.^] Owaisi said, "we in Hyderabad want to behead this woman according to the fatwa."

While speaking at a rally in Kurnool in 2011, Owaisi used the derogatory terms Kafirs and Kufrastan to refer to MLAs in Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly and the Legislative Assembly. In the same rally he used the Urdu words katil (murderer), darinda (monster), beimaan (dishonest), dhokebaaz (cheat), and chor (thief) for the former Prime Minister of India P V Narasimha Rao. Owaisi said that if Rao had not died, he (Owaisi) would have killed Rao with his own hands.

In April 2012, Owaisi made derogatory and demeaning comments against Hindu god Rama and his mother Kaushalya. Owaisi asked "Where all did Ram's mother go wandering and where did she give birth to him".This was met with loud cheers from the audience.

In November 2012, Owaisi spoke in Hyderabad, referring to the police force of Andhra Pradesh using the derogatory phrase "army of impotent people". He then incited the audience by challenging the Chief Minister to remove the police and then see who has more power. He further added that they (Hindus or the police force) do not have the courage to fight Muslims. On 8 December 2012, while speaking at Nizamabad, Owaisi made fun of Hindu festivals by saying "we (Muslims) have only two festivals, they have so many – one every 10 days He referred to the Bhagyalakshmi temple in Hyderabad several times as "illegal temple".

On 12 December 2012, Owaisi made derogatory remarks with hand gestures about Hindu goddess Bhagyalakshmi at a public rally in Nizamabad. He said making hand gestures – "She, who is sitting," and added, "What is this new name Bhagyalakshmi, never heard of Shout such slogans such that the Bhagya also shakes and Lakshmi also falls down

On 22 December 2012, Owaisi addressed a rally of twenty to twenty-five thousand people in the Nirmal town of Adilabad district of Andhra Pradesh. In his two-hour-long speech, Owaisi made multiple comments against Hindus, Hindu deities, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Vishva Hindu Parishad, Bharatiya Janata Party, Narendra Modi, India and United States of America In his speech, Owaisi said that the 180 million Indian Muslims needed only 15 minutes without the police to show one billion Hindus who is more powerful. Punjab Kesari reported that Owaisi referred to the Hindus as "impotent" and the Indian police as the "impotent army". He said that not even one crore impotent men can together father one child. He said that these people (Hindus) cannot face the Muslims, and whenever the Muslims start dominating the Hindus, the impotent army (police) intervenes. Owaisi said that "we (Muslims) will not let you (Hindus) live peacefully and added that the Muslims could "teach the rest of the world a lesson".Owaisi referred to Ajmal Amir Kasab, one of the Pakistani militants of the 2008 Mumbai attacks, as a "child", and compared him with Narendra Modi. He asked if Kasab was hanged then why is Modi not hanged, and said that the reason was only because Kasab was a Pakistani and Modi is Indian. He said that if the Muslims of India united like the Muslims of Andhra Pradesh, Narendra Modi would soon be hanged. Owaisi threatened that if his words were not heard, "O India, destruction and ruin will be your fate". He threatened that India will witness a bloodshed which has not been seen in the last 1000 years. He also dared Narendra Modi to come to Hyderabad, threatening by saying "we will show him then".Owaisi denigrated Hindu gods in his speech. Owaisi mocked Hindu cremation by saying "when you (Hindus) die, you become air after burning and go astray Owaisi talked in derogatory terms about heritage places of India including Ayodhya, Ajanta caves and Ellora caves He said that if Muslims go away from India, they will take the Taj Mahal, Red Fort and Qutb Minar with them, adding "What will then remain here? Just a razed Ram temple in Ayodhya and naked statues of Ajanta

Owaisi compared the state of Muslims of India to the state of Muslims of the world and blamed America for the same. Owaisi said that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, the Vishva Hindu Parishad, and the Bharatiya Janata Party were poisonous snakes, and to "crush their heads" a stick is enough.

After the speech, Owaisi left for London citing "medical treatment" as the reason.

Thus young generation of Indian Muslims must understand how we should live in India after Partition and they must understand how those Muslims are being treated who migrated to Pakistan and Bangladesh and must understand that is there any Arab country to welcome Palestinians and must understand what havoc ISIS is causing in Iran and Iraq and what punishment Saudi Arab and Iran are meting upon those who dissent.

What damage Partition could not do in Hindu Muslim relations is now being done by sustained preaching of clergies, madarsas and tableegh!

It is not that they are preaching something anti-Hindu , their preaching are making gulf  between Hindus and Muslims by ideas of ‘purity’ and ideas of ‘filth’ called najasat.

Same idea of filth was put by some temple priest. A woman menstruates each month and then semen of some man in her vagina starts our existence then we grow in her womb and keep on drinking our urine along with  liquor there and she bears pain reaches to door of death and we are born in blood, liquor, membranes and sometimes in urine and stool. A woman may have had sex or have urinated or have defecated then how she is unclean for us or for doing worship or entering temple or mosque ? We don’t become clean because we are circumcised or we take water after urination . Englishmen use toilet paper. Neither they are circumcised and nor they take water after urination and same is the case with Hindus. If they are dirty and their touch makes us dirty then no Muslim should get himself or herself operated upon as their hands go inside our body. Who grow food, who pluck fruit and vegetables, who bring to shop and who sell ? Who dig well, who lay down pipes ? Is there any air where nobody has breathed out ? The doors of temple and mosque should be open for anyone who comes to fold hands, bow or prostrate. There is no restriction for anyone in attending durgah or imambara.

 Neither one who worships any other deity or idol becomes unclean and nor one who does not believe or worship any God becomes unclean.

So we must reject this idea of purity and filth and must remain humane with every human being whatever be his or her religion or caste.

Hindus and Muslims should visit each other and participate in each others festivals and must participate in each other joys and grief.

Majority of Muslims failed in living together with their Hindu brothers

Muslims may become most intolerant and secluded people if not guided properly and if there are no leaders like Gandhi, Nehru and Abul Kalam Azad in India.

Muslims come to believe that there religion is religion of God and their Prophet and their Book are final Prophet and final Book. Naturally every individual thinks himself on most correct path and it seems to him that those who differ they are wrong – not only wrong but deviated from  path of God and as it is their duty to bring everyone to correct path of God and so coercion is right and people must be forced to accept their correct path and if they refuse they may be killed or forced to live as zimmi paying Jaziya. But all these extremist thoughts are against humanity and against human nature. The Muslim child or teenager comes to believe that all those who are not on correct path will go to hell. The clergies and madarsas are constantly preaching these things. During Muslim rule, clergies from Arab and Iran compelled the rulers to forcibly convert indigenous people or impose Jaziya – some rulers submitted to their extremism and some did not.

In India, all these years, Hindu and Muslim families lived amicably all these years then after 1857 the seeds of discord were sown that partitioned the country but even then human nature could overcome all fear and hate and Hindu and Muslim families kept living amicably in villages and in cities.

Our childhood passed in this amicable environment – our Hindu friends used to come in our house and no difference even if our parents were performing namaz or reciting Quran and for me jhankis of Janmashtami in Hindu houses and Ram Lila in the city were very attractive things and we used to celebrate diwali, holi and raksha bandhan.

But gradually Saudi sponsored Wahhabism took ground and atmosphere got vitiated. I myself dislike loudspeakers used for azan and religious activities and all those excessive display. The things are turning bad to worse in Muslim countries – Shias are being attacked and killed in Pakistan. 

The wrong policies of Congress and Samajwadi Party have encouraged clergies, communal leaders and Muslim goons and criminals.

1. There must be uniform Civil Code to save innocent Muslims especially Muslim women from injustice.

2. Loudspeakers must be banned from religious places and gatherings.

3. Communal leaders of both communities must be brought to justice. Criminals and goons be brought to justice.

4. Institutions that fan bigotry and hatred must be transformed into secular schools.

5. Secularism means religion must be banished from public affairs.

Such steps will bring common Hindus and Muslims together and interreligion and intercaste marriages must get protection and promotion.

Condemnation of Islam and Muslims is no solution

We all are individuals and no country or community has right to violate human rights of any individual. In every country and in every community, there are 75% people who are open minded and easy going and believe in ‘live and let live’ and only 25% people are communal, orthodox, fanatic, racist and so on. But irony is that in every country those 25% manage to dominate. It becomes impossible for those 75% to assert their wish if they are entrenched from the beginning. This is the case with Muslim communities and countries. Modern World faces many problems and comprehensive action by something like International Cooperation of Modern Outlook People can attempt to solve these problems.

1. Make a powerful and truly democratic UN to check bullying by one or other nation. Such an UN will able to do following things –

2. True democracy in every country of the World. 75% citizens of each country wish openness but they are crushed as Arab Spring was stifled. The elections in many countries need to be done under UN observation.

3. Archaic and Medieval laws to be relegated to archives and modern laws and Universal Declaration of Human Rights 1948 must be implemented in letter and spirit all over the World. As South Africa had to officially end apartheid under international pressure so such countries must be pressurized to end archaic and medieval laws and some such laws are in force even in US and Europe.

4. Bring about measures to provide equality, dignity and security to Blacks in US. UN must look into instances where White cop kills some Black and where White judge releases or gives token sentence to such criminals.

5. All instances of hate crimes and honour killings must be investigated by special cell in UN

6. The marginalized people of India must get justice and effective international initiatives must be taken to provide security, dignity to them and bring about their socio-economic uplift.

Nothing is internal matter of some community or country !

The countries and communities don't have any right to violate human rights of individuals. Death for adultery, death for blasphemy, death for eating beef, death for marrying outside caste all these are human rights violations possible  because in each country a minority of people who are orthodox and fanatic become powerful enough to dictate their terms.

 The international cooperation of enlightened people and of countries and powerful UN must be able to thwart such violations by retrogressive communities and countries. Those who simply denounce some religion or some country where such retrogressive laws are in force is not enough. We all owe responsibility to save individual life, liberty and rights. It is not enough that people blame for example Islam, Muslims or Muslim countries for violations of human rights. It is GLOBAL SHAME if someone anywhere is killed for writing or drawing anything or for eating any food or for having sex with anyone with mutual consent or for marrying someone with mutual consent. We must unite to end all this barbarity in 21st century and outside people are in better position to be effective than persons belonging to that community or country. For this we need powerful UN to safeguard human rights of weakest person in the World where offending country or community will have to face consequences of embargo and other punitive steps. There must be so much international pressure that countries will have to renounce medieval jurisprudence and adopt modern progressive laws. Archaic and medieval laws must be relegated to archives and modern laws should be enforced all over the World.

इस्लाम और आतंकवाद

मुसलमान यह मानते हैं की इस्लाम अल्लाह का दीन है और क़ुरान अल्लाह की किताब है और इसमें कुछ स्थानों पर यह लिखा है कि काफ़िरों से लड़ो कि पूरी ज़मीन पर अल्लाह का दीन हो जाए I  समय समय पर मुसलमानों में से कुछ लोग इस का अर्थ एक कट्टर इस्लाम - मर्दों के लिए दाढ़ी और औरतों के लिए पर्दा ले कर मुस्लिम देशों में खड़े होते रहे हैं -मर्द मस्जिद में पांच बार नमाज़ जमात से पढ़ें  आज की दुनिया में जो तफ़रीह की चीज़ें हैं जैसे फिल्म. टेलीविज़न वह सब हराम है औरतें बिना किसी महरम या शौहर के  साथ के बग़ैर घर से बाहर न निकलें I

 एक सही अक़ायद हैं - तौहीद , नबूवत, असहाब की फ़ज़ीलत , इसके इलावा जो सूफी , शिया , अहमदी मानते हैं वह कुफ्र और शिर्क है जिसे मानने वाला क़ाबिले क़त्ल है और इन सब बिद्दतों को जड़ से ख़त्म होना चाहिए I

यूरोप की नक़ल भी बिद्दत है I  कुत्ता नजिस है पाला नहीं जा सकता I

इसके साथ काफी मुसलमान मर्द और औरतें हैं जो खुली ज़िन्दगी पसंद करते हैं और जब कभी कट्टरपन हल्का पड़ता है तो वह सब चीज़ें अपनाते हैं जिन्हें कट्टरवादी हराम कहते हैं I  मुल्ला मौलवी कट्टर इस्लाम को लगातार फैलाते रहते हैं I जब कभी क़ुरान या पैग़म्बर को लेकर कोई अपमानजनक बात लिखी जाती है , कार्टून छपता है या टी वी सीरियल बनता है तो दुनिया भर के मुसलमान आहत महसूस करते हैं और कुछ लोग कुछ जगह हिंसक विरोध करते हैं I

इधर कुछ वर्षों से बिना कारण दुनिया भर में मुसलमानों द्वारा आतंकवादी हमले , फिदायी हमले जिनमें हमलावर भी हलाक हो जाते हैं किये गए हैं I

शायद कुछ आधुनिक शिक्षित और सम्भवता यूरोप अमेरिका में बसे मुसलमान यह समझते हैं कि जिहाद और आतंकवाद के ज़रिये पूरे विश्व को इस्लाम के अधीन किया जा सकता है और शायद अल्लाह इस नेक काम में उनकी मदद करेगा और उनकी कामयाबी 100 % यक़ीनी है I

 जब 1400 वर्ष पूर्व  अल्लाह ने यह नहीं किया, जब 10th सदी तक मुसलमान सब से एडवांस्ड थे तब नहीं हुआ तो अब दूसरों के बनाये secondhand हथियारों से दुनिया कैसे जीत लेंगे I  अभी तो रूस चीन और जापान का तो सामना हुआ ही नहीं I

ताज्जुब की बात है कि वह लोग जो खुली ज़िन्दगी की तलाश में कभी यूरोप और अमेरिका गए थे उनकी संताने कट्टरवाद और आतंकवाद को अपना रही हैं I

  क्यों मुसलमान पूरी दुनिया जीत कर आधुनिक सभ्यता ख़त्म कर के वह दुनिया वापस लाना चाहता है जो पहले ही हार चुकी है - उमय्या खिलाफत, अब्बासी खिलाफत और ओटोमन साम्राज्य ?

इसके दो मनोवैज्ञानिक कारण समझ में आते हैं - एक तो आज की औरत I मुसलमान शादियां कर के घर में बीवियां बंद रखना चाहता है और जिस पर शक आये उसे संगसार, गर्दन कटवा दे या सूली चढ़ा दे - यह सब मुस्लिम देशों में होता रहता है औरतों को एक तरफ़ा मृत्यु दंड I हॉलीवुड अभिनेत्रियों और मॉडलों की खुली ज़िन्दगी, नंगी तस्वीरें और वीडियो उसे लुभाती तो  पर उस पर हराम हैं तो यह सब दुनिया भर में किसी को भी मयस्सर न हों यह वह चाहता है  I

दूसरा कारण है ईवोलूशन , एस्ट्रोफिजिक्स, न्यूक्लिअर फिजिक्स , जेनेटिक्स, बायोटेक्नोलॉजी, और आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस  तरह की रिसर्च और उपलब्धियां जो दीन की इमारत हिला देती हैं उन्हें दुनिया भर से हमेशा के लिए ख़त्म कर दे I

यह सारा कट्टरवाद और आतंकवाद अनपढ़ मुसलमान नहीं करते हैं - मौलवी कट्टर आस्था और व्यवहार का ब्लूप्रिंट रखते हैं और पढ़े लिखे मुसलमान आधुनिक टेक्नोलॉजी का इस्तेमाल कर के आधुनिक सभ्यता ख़त्म कर के उस ब्लूप्रिंट को यथार्थ रूप देना चाहते हैं I

अगर दुनिया में कोई भी ग्रुप खड़ा हो जो आतंकवाद और आकर्मण कर के अपना वर्जस्व चाहे तो यदि पूरी दुनिया उसके विरुद्ध एक जुट हो कर उसका समूल नाश कर दे तो ग़लत नहीं होगा या उस ग्रुप को दुनिया भर से निकाल कर एक सीमित क्षेत्र में कर के सभ्य समाज से स्क्रीन्ड ऑफ कर दे तो ग़लत नहीं होगा I इसलिए पढ़े लिखे मुस्लमान कट्टरवादियों को इस अंजाम को नज़र में रखना चाहिए I

मुसलामानों के आतंकवाद की प्रतिक्रिया में दुसरे लोग मुसलमानों के धर्म संस्थापक और धर्म ग्रन्थ को बुरा कह कर बस खुश हो लेते हैं जो कोई सकारात्मक हल नहीं है I

ऐतिहासिक और राजनैतिक सत्य क्या है ?

1400  वर्ष पूर्व अरब की परिस्थितियों में धर्म संस्थापक ने अपने लोगों को एक पहचान एक विधि विधान दिया और एक राष्ट्र बना दिया धर्म के केवल चार अंग थे नमाज़, रोज़ा, हज और ज़कात I बाद में खलीफा द्वितीय  ने जिहाद को जोड़ दिया I शियोँ के पहले इमाम और मुसलमानों के चौथे खलीफा ने क़ुरान के बहुत से निर्देशों के अनुपयुक्त हो जाने की बात कही ( नहजुल बलाग़ा ख़ुत्बा 1 ) और उन्होंने किसी देश पर कोई हमला  अगर यह आदेश लागू होता तो वह अवश्य इसका पालन करते I

मुस्लिम अरब ने ग्रीस और रोम के संकलित ज्ञान को आत्म सात कर के विश्व को मेडिसिन, अल्केमी, ऑप्टिक्स, एस्ट्रोनॉमी  और अलजेब्रा दिया एस्ट्रोनॉमी में आज भी 60 % तारों के नाम अरबी में हैं  भारत ने १  से ९  तक ली संख्या दी जिन्हें इंडिसेस  कहा जाता है अरब ने इसमें जीरो मिलाया आर्किटेक्चर और कैलीग्राफी में मुसलमानों का अद्भुत योग दान है I

उमय्या और अब्बासी खलीफाओं के दौर में कई लोग कट्टर इस्लाम को ले कर खड़े हुए लेकिन किसी खलीफा ने उसको नहीं माना I  अरब पिछड़ गया और सत्ता ओटोमन साम्राज्य के पास चली गयी जो टर्की में केंद्रित था I

 1745  में अब्दुल वहाब ने कट्टर इस्लाम का ब्लूप्रिंट अरब में प्रचारित किया  लोगों ने उसे स्वीकार नहीं किया वह अपने गाँव से निकल दिया गया फिर उसे अब्दुल वहाब को दिरिया  के  मुखिया इबने सऊद ने  शरण दी और फिर दोनों ने मिल कर आसपास के इलाक़ों को जीत लिया I उनका राज्य दो बार समाप्त किया गया  उस समय अरब पर मिश्र का शासन था और उसके ऊपर ओटोमन साम्राज्य था I इसी बीच द्वितीय विश्व युद्ध में ओटोमन साम्राज्य बिखर गया  अरब ब्रिटेन के अधीन हो गया  उस समय मक्का मदीना का इंतेज़ाम शरीफ हुसैन  बिन अली के हाथ था और नजद में सऊद  वंशज का क़ब्ज़ा था I   ब्रिटेन ने बल्फोर डिक्लेरेशन दिया जिस के अनुसार पलेस्तीन  में यहूदियों को बसा  कर उनका देश इस्राएल  बनाना था   इस कारण शरीफ ने ब्रिटेन से सन्धि  करने को मन कर दिया लेकिन सऊद  वंशज ने संधि कर ली और हिजाज़ ( मक्का मदीना ) पर क़ब्ज़ा कर लिया I ब्रिटेन ने 1927  में सऊद  को नजद  और हिजाज़  का बादशाह स्वीकार कर लिया I इस तरह सऊदी अरब की स्थापना हुयी और फिर मिडिल ईस्ट में आयल युग शुरू हुआ  तब से सऊदी हुकूमत अपने पुरखों के मित्र और गुरु अब्दुल वहाब के कट्टर इस्लाम  दुनिया भर में फैला रहा है I अफ़ग़ानिस्तान में रूस ने कम्युनिस्ट शासन स्थापित करा दिया था उसे अमेरिका ने ख़त्म करने के लिए पाकिस्तान की सहायता से तालिबान खड़े किये  जिनका उद्देश्य कट्टर इस्लाम लाना था I

  अमेरिका और यूरोप के सामने दो मोर्चे हैं 1  मिलिट्री और नुक्लिएर पावर के रूप में रूस, चीन और ईरान  और 2 ट्रेड  पॉवर  के  रूप  में चीन और जापान   इसके लिए अमेरिका और यूरोप  गठबंधन ग़लत से ग़लत फैसले  करता रहता है I

 सम्भवता ईरान से निबटने  के लिए इसने दाइश ( आई  एस  ) को खड़ा किया था और सपोर्ट  भी कर रहा है I

ग़ैर मुस्लिम को मुस्लिम आतंकवाद के लिए उनके  धर्म  संस्थापक  और धर्म ग्रन्थ को दोष  उपयुक्त नहीं है और न ही कार्टून  माध्यम से अपमानित करना चाहिए

मुसलमानलों को वर्तमान युग में  जी कर साइंस  आर्ट्स ,लिटरेचर  स्पोर्ट्स में आना चाहिए  औरतों को पूरी आज़ादी देनी चाहिए  'तुम्हारा दीन  तुम्हारे  लिए  मेरा दीन  मेरे  लिए ' पर  रहना चाहिए   आज की पॉलिटिक्स को समझना चाहिए I
